Ojoto Youth Association, held her maiden youth conference on 1st of February 2023, themed THE ROLE OF YOUTHS IN LEADERSHIP AND POLITICS

The Traditional Ruler of Ojoto, HRH Igwe Gerald Obunadike Mbamalu, Igwe Oranyelu 1,Eze Ojoto 111 who was represented by High Chief, Sir Romeo Anyisia, Ichie Obodike. The guest speaker was no other but a great daughter of Ojoto, a great philanthropist, a woman of substance, the greatest event planner, Chief Mrs Amaka Ezechiedo, (Ugojelumba Ojoto) Sparkles International.

The event featured great politicians within Anambra Central ( Princess Barr. Mrs Helen Mbakwe, candidate for Anambra Central Senatorial District under NNPP), Idemili North/South (Hon. Uche Harris Okonkwo candidate for Idemili North/South Federal Constituency under Labour Party, Hon. Ifeanyi Ibezi candidate for Idemili North/South Federal Constituency under APC, Hon. Ikenna Iyiegbu and Hon. Chidoka of APGA and PDP were absent),State House of Assembly candidates for Idemili South Constituency present were Hon. Ubah Darlington Uchechukwu of the People's Redemption Party (PRP) and Hon. Ebuka Igwe of APGA, while the candidate of PDP Hon. Ekene Aghasiefo sent a representative likewise the candidate of Labour Party, Hon. Uche Obienu sent in a representative but the candidate of APC Hon. Donatus Ngige was totally absent
