The Governor of Anambra State, Prof. Chukwuma Charles Soludo CFR, has praised Sen. Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah for purchasing 6000 streetlights with surveillance cameras and 1000 walkie-talkies for trained security personnel in the Anambra South district.

The Governor made this remark at the FC Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi/Ozubulu during the Anambra South Security Surveillance and Information Technology Summit.

The Senator will install 6000 streetlights with surveillance cameras in the 119 wards of Anambra South, and the Governor announced that 1000 walkie-talkies will be given to the trained security officers.

"Sen. Ifeanyi Ubah is a true onye Anambra, so I appreciate, congratulate, and applaud him on behalf of the Government and Great People of Anambra. We gladly accept this gift in exchange for the safety of Anambra South.

Soludo stated, "We must ensure that the skilled security people adhere to the Anambra State Vigilante Law and Police Law."

Governor Soludo gave the Senator his word that the Solution Security team, made up of the Commissioner of Homeland Affairs, Chief Chikodi Anarah, the Special Adviser to the Governor on Security, AVM Ben Chiobi, and the Chief of Staff to the Governor, Mr. Ernest Ezeajughi, would work with him to make sure the security agencies were operating cooperatively to fit within the system's architecture and that all the technology was properly set up.

"I must express my sincere gratitude to Sen. Ifeanyichukwu Ubah for coming up with this specific idea to secure Anambra South.

"The seven local governments in Anambra South, including Ogbaru, were under siege when I took office. Because of the gun violence and homicides that were occurring at the time, we didn't conduct campaigns in these areas adequately.

"We made the decision to take on these crooks and retake our state.

"Everyone's job is to protect lives and property. Men, women, and children all have a part to play. Speak up if you see something. If there is anything for you to do, it is.

"We reactivated the Anambra State Security Trust Fund and requested donations from the people of ndi Anambra. Since we shall be developing Anambra State together, many people responded to our invitation by providing cash, vehicles, technology, and other items.

Soludo insisted, "We have come today to honor one such big endeavor.

The Governor disclosed that after the election, he met with representatives from each political party in Anambra and pleaded with them to put partisan politics aside since administration belonged to everyone.

He also said his agenda is development of Anambra!

Soludo emphasized, "I'm asking members of the National Assembly regardless of party affiliation that we should work together for the development of Anambra.

The celebration today is an Anambra event, not a political one, hence the Governor commended the Senator for his order not to fly political insignia on this historic day.

He also praised him for building the Ifeanyi Ubah Stadium, calling it a great structure and promising to build upon it.

In his previous speech, Senator Ifeanyi Ubah congratulated the Governor for keeping his promise to visit Nnewi.

"We have come to inform all of our adversaries who have predicted that Anambra South will not prosper that we will permanently sweep out all criminal elements in collaboration with the State Government."

We have developed a project called "Secure Anambra South Project" to combat security issues. Political parties are not being crowned here.

"What we are seeing here is a deliberate alliance between the offices of the Anambra South Senatorial District and the Anambra State Executive Governor.

"The initial group of trained personnel is here. To ensure that investors going to invest in the state won't be afraid, we are taking these steps.

"Our security will henceforth speak in every neighborhood with a single voice. We'll set up communication and security devices (operation fire to fire)

"The installation of street lights is our initial phase, followed by the installation of surveillance cameras.

"Media propaganda is often the root of our problems. Do not believe voice communications if there is no accompanying photographic or video evidence, the senator advised, as this damages the state's reputation.

In order to further up the fight against insecurity in the state, he asked the residents of Anambra State to support the state legislature and security apparatus.

6000 streetlight poles with surveillance cameras will be installed, according to AVM Ben Chiobi, who informed the governor that it will take personnel all day and night to complete the installation.

Additionally, he stated that well-trained staff members are prepared to work and that more than 1000 walkie-talkies with communication components have been bought.

The initiative, which has started in your senatorial district, is fantastic and in keeping with your pledge to use technology everywhere, notably in security, he remarked.

Chief of Staff, Mr Ernest Ezeajughi, Special Adviser to the Governor on Security AVM Ben Chiobi, Anambra Exco Members amongst others were present at the summit.

APGA belongs to Anambra and will forever remain in Anambra but the principal might be who we might not want.

I like the fact that he (Soludo) is now in the news for the right reasons.

Perhaps he must have learnt from the unnecessary bad move he made against a peaceful and loving brother (Peter Obi).

APGA can keep Anambra state and the SE but Labour Party championed by Peter Obi is our (Well meaning Nigerians) choice for presidency.

If Peter Obi had joined APGA as Soludo instructed and desired, the hatred, discrimination and enemies propaganda for Obi would have quadrupled.

Even in Labour Party he is being labelled an IPOB candidate just because he is an Igbo man.

What more if he had joined APGA? he would have been tagged an advancing candidate for the Biafra republic and every effort of his sabotaged.

This is was what APC wanted but their pain now is that PO is getter more than the attention he ever asked for in a Party without the so called structure.

See my people vote Peter Obi oo! He is just one man that checked all boxes. We are talking age, health, energy, mental wellbeing, honesty, integrity, corruption free, intelligence, calculative, desire and eagerness to build a new and better Nigeria and so many more!

If we miss Peter Obi just forget it. Nigeria is doomed for good. You can take this to the bank.

Collect the 5K they would give to you, eat for it is your money but vote for the right man for the job. 5K or a bag of rice will never sustain you for next one year let alone 4 years.

Vote Peter Obi βœ”οΈ
Vote Labour Party (Mama, Papa, Pikin) πŸ‘ͺ
I can assure you it's something you will do and never regret.

Good intent but very elementary, for even a mediocre force.

My home security uses more advanced systems than those secondary school gadgets.

I want to know how much Ifeanyi uba charged the treasury to buy and import those small pikin toys. Pay ekelebes, train them in tactical response, train them to respect lives and properties, train them on how to de escalate situations while still being on high alert, increase the technology of cameras, and better radios.

These toy radios don't need a sophisticated criminal (s) to bypass. A nobody that came back from a developed country can bypass this toy. They don't even have to be electronic engineers or technicians. Let me tell you about this toy, if someone has a radio or phone that has AM stations, you can just slowly scan it like you are looking for a radio station, and wahla - you can intercept any two or more people communicating, it can be done in 3 or more minutes; for someone that is really good with electronics, this can be intercepted in less than 30secs with a little calculation and a rigged interceptor.

We are still a very back ward and archaic like country. America used this type of radios in the early 1900s. We are just too used to mediocrity. So, how much did this projects cost. I suppose they are trying to do somethings for the communities, which is good on their behalf, but don't take all Nigerians for olodos. This is not going to tilt crime, and am sure the treasury was charged handsomely for this weak initiative.

Nigeria has satellites, or are they docile up there? or they could have done encrypted button signaling and then keep one above mediocre line of communication, either with cell phone or more secure two way; that way if a unit is in danger, they can click one button that can alert their colleagues in the area, and if trained properly, one of those people in danger can call to alert the department, then they can coordinate a rapid but safe response.

it is more to this strategy, and can get complex, but very attainable.

As for oga Soludo, the guy is just clueless and not creative about anything. The spirit of the darkness he forced Nigerians to bear, is be-clouding hos judgment. I pray for the success of Anambra.

Meanwhile some senatorial candidates that want to represent Anambra North will steal from the state for 8 good years when their husband was in power and refuse to contribute anything to the development of the state but dem go still rush to onitsha main market and kneel down to pray for the traders votes.
Shameless.
After traders go still chase dem from the market. What a disgrace.
