Nigerians are running and shouting all over the place that they are suffering because of non availability of the new Naira notes that banks and ATMs are not dispensing, now some governors won an injunction to alleviate your so called suffering and you are still mad and upset, you still don't want your suffering to be alleviated.

It's either many of you are hypocrites, disingenuous, liars or just too odiously political and tribal to even see what's in your own best interest.

The governors have no problem securing the new notes and they are definitely not suffering because of the new notes, they are not the one lining up for hours trying to withdraw money from the ATM or fighting in banking halls, you are so how are they your problem?

Is the misguided and incompetently created and administered policy the governors policy?

The governors are not the problem, people like you are really the problem because you can not see or reason beyond your nose.

The commentator you addressed and his co-travellees want the baby cut in half. Sadly, nothing short of this will appease them.

Now while I am in compete agreement with everything you have written here, it also behoves us to ask how some of our compatriots became so desensitised to human suffering. Why do they feel disenfranchised to the point where even self-immolation is seen as a viable option?

This current crop of justices needs to be investigated and removed. How can a case be move to the supreme court directly?

You don't know law. Whenever a case is between the state government and FG, the matter is adjudicated directly at the Supreme Court.

So how do you stop no 1 when you print the same amount you are taking out of circulation?

Again, remove cashless policy from your point. The timing says otherwise

It's not the job of the CBN to stop vote buying - it's the job of the security agencies. Of course, stopping vote buying by any means is ideal, but it's irresponsible and treasonous for the CBN to spread poverty and hunger, bring the country to the edge of mass unrests and riots, and possibly tank the economy into recession in a bid to use monetary policy to fight vote buying.

You really think the guy who hasn't got his January salary today because Emefiele's bullheadedness cares about who wins the election? No. He will set fire to the bank first.

They don't mind suffering even if the suffering end their lives because they think the dumb and idiotic policy will hurt certain people and prevent them from winning election when in fact the elites have zero problem securing new notes.

It's the demented and classic "The enemy of my enemy is my friend" syndrome.

They hate Nigeria so much that they are praying for Nigeria to burn and implode.

Do you expect the Supreme Court to rule otherwise..
Even those judges and their loved ones are looking for Naira notes...
The governors lawyer is smart...He used CBN record of 60% of Nigerians don't have account... Obviously, the cash will be with them.

So why did they waste money into what they are not meant to stop? Do you really understand my line of argument?

Same government wasted money to do something. Same government fighting itself to stop it. Big Shame

You are talking trash! The supreme court has ruled. The FG and CBN must obey first.
And by the way, the governors are right to go to the supreme court, jus look at how people are suffering. I withdrew 5k from pos yesterday, they gave me old notes and charged me 500 naira. The pos girl said they have not had the new currency in a long while.
That same yesterday I was at the Shandam yam market to buy yams, you won't believe that almost all the yam sellers do not have account and deal on raw cash and since there was no cash in circulation, the market was looking dull with sellers causing this government. All the pos at the market had no cash. This is a very useless policy and the supreme court did well on this.
You must be right - FG must obey and Nnamdi Kanu was freed this morning undecided

Nigerians have been suffering for decades, and where were these same governors and the supreme court?

Anyone that wants to keep accepting old notes after the deadline, can open his/her own bank to do so

Unfortunately it is the CBN that will issue directive on wether to obey the supreme court or disobey the supreme court .This judgement has nothing to do with Mr President

Now if a bank follows the earlier directive from the cbn(S it is now that directive has been halted).Do you know the magnitude of 'wahala ' the cbn will be involved when it is brought to the knowledge of the supreme court.
Now imagine if the supreme court now ask for emefieles arrest.do you think DSS will turn a blind eye?

Your kind had no qualms when Buhari ignored court orders for Dasuki's and Kanu's release.

Buhari should have been firm on the 31st deadline. If he chooses to ignore this court order, heaven will not fall.

The supreme court can ask but cannot enforce anyone's arrest. All federal law enforcement, security agencies, and armed forces are under the executive branch. Anyone that goes rogue is simply risking their career for nothing, cos many seem to have forgotten that PMB na retired General

The CBN will likely just ignore the Supreme court order and there is nothing they can do about it. The banks can also simply refuse to accept all cash deposits till further notice.

Anyone still accepting old notes after the deadline does so at their own peril

You have misfired! The Supreme Court has no Jurisdiction in this matter and it will be set aside in the next few days. Stop misleading people.
Clevite:
This injunction effectively overrules the order of the High Court of FCT that earlier restrained the CBN from extending the date beyond February 10. The jurisdiction of the FCT Court to make the order is questionable in the first place.

That emefiele has been acting on his own volition as the head/Governor of the CBN...the answer is yes!
That he gothe got it wrong and had to be corrected by the National Assembly...Yes!
That states of the federation approached the supreme court with an argument before the lordship that the CBN directive and plans are designed to destroy the financial of its citizens .....yes the can.

So it is left for the CBN governor to approach the supreme court to clarify the issues and profer solution before the action of the CBN leads to chaos!

Do you get the drift now!

Therefore that pipu should or are encouraging the CBN to ignore the supreme court justices.hian! The way DSS will bundle him ehn! Buhari will just look at find another replacement for CBN governor

There is danger here. The sign is all over the place.

There is no danger as bad as one woven in uncertainty. How uncertain is the economic terrain in Nigeria presently?

It's better to be sure of certain things, and that includes in the most part, government policies affecting the monies and lives of Nigerians like what we now have.

The shifting of the deadline from 31st December to 10th Feb. Caused hardship because it introduced a degree of uncertainty that isn't healthy for our fragile economy in the country.

Now, we are headed for the most uncertain circumstances where government is fighting against government all within APC and the level of uncertainty this may bring with it is higher.

Please Leaders, allow Nigerians to be sure of our currencies and abort this impending suffering ahead of Nigerians
