I use iPhone 4 and I can tell you, it is a good idea. The touch is wonderful. Now, I find it very hard using a phone with button.

I've had two touch screen phones: Samsung Tocco and HTC Desire. I don't mind a keyboard, having had a Nokia with one, but touch screens are ok so long as you're prepared to protect your screen from scratches (a good screen protector helps).

It takes getting used to using an on-screen keyboard, if you've got a good one that you can change with the orientation of the phone, all the better.

It really depends on the type of phone you're looking at. Try the phone if you can get a demonstration and see if you like the feel of it.

its spendid, referring to touch screens. i use the nokia N8 and its a FANTASTIC DEVICE!! iv got almost 20 different high definition 3d games in it, ncluding SPIDER MAN TOTAL MAYHEm.

@Lynx i heard from a friend that HTC DESIRE battery is not that durable! Is this true?
