I am based in Lagos. Please where can i get it. I need to use the liquid from the stem of the plant for health reason but dont know where to find it.




In Nigeria, the Hausa call it Bini da Zugu, Igbo call it Olulu idu, Owulu idu, Yoruba call it Botuje, lapalapa funfun. It is an ornamental, medicinal and a multi-purpose shrub.

We use it to mark residential land boundaries in Delta state, so it is common.

We call it Ishakpa

The juice from the living tree
I have drink 2 teaspoonfuls for 14 days then start cooking the leaves and drinking the water for 1 to 3 months

When you cut the stem it oozes juice. It's that juice

It does not grow very tall, it hardly grows up to 10ft tall. But it is a perennial plant.

Ipaja is very populated. You can't be touching a tree that is not yours and people won't shout
