Can u imagine the man saying there is no substantial resources to print the new note in large chunk but u re ordering the eradication of the new note within limited time..

The governor has no such power constitutionally, not even the president.

It’s the CBN’s prerogative to decide what/ what no longer constitutes a Legal Tender and that has been made clear.

The SC will determine the suit on 15th Feb., but anyone still keeping the old notes does so at their own peril.

They should take the old notes to Zamfara Government House so the Governor can change them to new ones.

Very useless lots.. Zamfara state that is ravaged by bandits and insecurity all over while the govt secretly mines gold through it's proxies is suddenly interested in the welfare of its people because of old naira notes
