In lagos and ibadan, they're accepting old notes. seems the new notes have gone extinct or something.

Osun, ondo, Edo, Ogun are all collecting old money, no discrimination whatsoever

I'm rejecting the old note because CBN has barred supermarket and fuel stations from accepting the old notes as legal tender.

So a governor of a state can give a mandate on currency?

What if I wake up tomorrow as a governor and say people must accept buttons as means of payment in my state.

This whole money issue is just too cumbersome abeg.

When you no sabi as matter be e better make you keep quiet rather than embarrass yourself publicly.....

State Government has turned to unknown gunmen.... Don't we have the constitutional right to refuse to sell to someone (especially to avoid lose)?

You don't have the right, as money is a legal tender, both old and new

Do we have sense at all?
The easy path is CBN governor to give directive that allow the old notes to be acceptable.
