It is no longer surprising that Fani Kayode has always been so dramatic toward things. Politinament.net reports that Femi Fani-Kayode has apologized for accusing the PDP presidential candidate, Atiku Abubakar, of planning a coup.

However, Fani-Kayode made these allegations in a series of tweets over the weekend. He seriously claim that Atiku was holding meetings with high-ranking military officers to plan the coup. Seriously, this is a heavy allegation.

Meanwhile, Fani-Kayode expressed regret over making the accusations. Moreover, he tendered an apology to journalists in Abuja on Monday after being released by the DSS.

While being interrogated for five hours, he was advised that he should be mindful of his comments as a public figure who is looked up to by many.
