*High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo Receives Masters Fitness and WellBeing Club’s Philanthropist of the Year Award*

Awka- Masters Fitness and Wellbeing Club, Awka on Wednesday 13th day of February 2023, honoured High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo with an Award of Excellence as Most Outstanding Philanthropist of the Year 2022, in recognition of his empowerment of Anambra Youths and Selfless service to Humanity.

The award was presented to him at his Awka Residence by the Club Chairman, Sir Anthony Menuba and other members of the Club.

In his opening remark, the club's chairman, Chief Sir Anthony Menuba said the gesture was a unique strategy adopted by the Executive and Members of the Club to honour an uncommon personality who has touched lives and improved lives through community development in many immeasurable ways, over time.


Sir Menuba explained that the club took time to study and monitor charitable and philanthropic activities of High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo which he said were unrivaled, and deemed it proper to honour him with the award. He described High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo as a man with a heart of gold, pointing out that the club members are appreciative of him for his numerous support and encouragement to the Youths of Anambra State and to humanity in general.

While receiving the award, High Chief Engr Johnbosco Onunkwo thanked the club for the special recognition and honour, and pledged to always partner with the club. He used the opportunity to praise the club for their commitment in giving back to the society, community development and promised to give his support to the club at all times.

Other dignitaries at the Award Presentation are Hon Barr Sly Ezeokenwa ( APGA National Legal Adviser and Commissioner for Special Duties), Dr Emeka Ezenekwe ( Consultant Radiologist with Nnamdi Azikiwe University Teaching Hospital), Prince Amobi Egwu (Prince of Mgbakwu Kingdom), Chief Sir Charles Chukwuma, Paschal Candle( A chieftain of APC & a Public Affairs Analyst), Pharmacist Ikenna Enendu, Chief Sir Emeka Obiekie (President Awka Sports Club),Mr Maduka Chukwunenye (CEO Macfresh Industries Ltd).
