“We have said that this man (CBN Governor) should be removed when he…”On Wednesday, February 15, 2023, Governor Oluwarotimi Akeredolu of Ondo State declared that Godwin Emefiele, the Governor of the Central Bank of Nigeria, is unsuitable to lead the apex bank. Speaking while receiving members of the Youth Directorate of the Presidential Campaign Council, PCC, of the All Progressives Congress, APC, led by Seyi Tinubu, Akeredolu posits that Emefiele’s dalliance with the APC presidential ticket should have prompted his ouster as CBN governor.

Moreover, the governor suggests that, having failed to secure the nomination, Emefiele may attempt to sabotage the forthcoming 2023 elections. Akeredolu further disclosed that the rating of the APC has drastically dropped with the naira and fuel shortages in the country.

“We have a problem we are facing in this country today. Our rating as a party is not that favorable. Let’s not deceive ourselves. Must it be now that we will have this financial policy?

“How? Fuel and everything? Things are not easy. This policy is not right at this time. It should be reversed. Reserve it and tell CBN that we are reversing it. Let old and new notes co-exist.

“Okada, taxis , banks are not taking old notes again. There is an injunction and everyone is behaving like there is no injunction. We have said that this man (CBN Governor) should be removed when he contested to be President. The man is not fit for that position. A man who attempted to be President will frustrate us at this time.”

Seyi Tinubu is the son of APC Presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Hehehe! See how a whole SAN is talking rubbish because of one heroine-drug balabloo-blu-bulava baron. The APC government including the governors used this same Godwin Emefiele to perpetuate heinous financial crimes till the point that he bough APC #100M nomination form to contest their presidential primaries.

This is the sacrilegious based on the CBN act but no body said nada. Now Buhari wants to deal with them using the same stooge CBN governor to deal with their monetisation of the electoral & democratic processes, then everyone started neighing.

Too late to ask for Emefiele sack or for him to voluntarily step down.

Let the coward, always hiding behind Buhari's agbada, do his worst but be ready to face the music very soon.

No incoming President will persecute Buhari same as PMB could do nothing to GEJ but immediately pounced on and jailed Sambo Dasuki.

Emefiele should man up and be ready to accept whatever punishment will be dished out to him for allowing himself to be the stooge of those who will remain untouchable, along with Buhari, after May 29th handover.

All you IPOBians do is make Nzogbu Nzogbu noise to then cry later. That has always been your history yet you never learn showing that insanity may be in the IPOBian gene.

It is after Buhari leaves that your hero Emefiele will understand that power is transient and that it is always foot soldiers sent out to die first.
