New Naira Notes: Violent Protests Take Over Nigerian Cities (Video)

Following the scarcity of the newly released naira notes from the Central Bank and the non acceptance of the old notes still in circulation, violent protests are currently rocking several Nigerian cities.

Protests have already been reported in Warri, Delta state, Benin City in Edo state, Ibadan and Ogbomoso in Oyo state and Ilorin in Kwara state.

Banks are currently been attacked for not accepting the old notes and the continued scarcity of the new notes. The situation remains very tense.

something is wrong here: why all this protest is the south where we have many literate people, while the educated North's as some use to refer them understand the situation and no protested there.

Apart from Benin (oshiomole) and Warri (omo Agege) the rest of the protest is restricted to SW alone

Wrong agbado title.

"Violence erupts in Southwest alone assisted by Oshiomole and Omo Agege with the little they can"
