Oyo, Delta, and Edo are among the states across the nation where protests have erupted once more in response to the dearth of the new N200, N500, and N1,000 notes and the rejection of the previous naira banknotes. This occurs less than two weeks after citizens of Ibadan, Oyo State, protested in the streets over the hardship brought on by the switch to new naira notes and the increase in fuel prices.
