The information he gave might be false to you because you couldn't confirm them. The evidences from what I read are glaring in both the Facebook posts and the Truecaller.
You tend to justify adultery and promiscuity. Hope you're not involved in any. Character assassination has to do with someone being accused falsely for a crime or an action he didn't commit or perform or has knowledge of. If the story isn't true, you can advise the foolish man or unfaithful wife to sue for defamation of character. Meanwhile, let's read from others as I'm truly following up with this story.
