THE DEATH OF A GAY CHORISTER: INTERIM PROVISIONS FOR ONITSHA ARCHDIOCESAN CHOIRS

Dear Choristers,

By now many of us are aware of the scandal-ridden death of one of our choristers, who comes from our Archdiocese by origin, whose death on 31st January, 2023 occurred in Port Harcourt. Given the shocking revelations following his death about his being a homosexual and the overwhelming evidence of his bizarre thoroughgoing feminization to the point that a deceitful and false "sacramental" marriage was even foreseen, and as an interim measure in the Archdiocese, to ensure that such embarrassing situation is met in anticipation with zero tolerance and given absolute zero possibility of ever occurring again, I hereby give following instructions to be observed in the interim pending future deliberations and reviews by the music commission:

1. The practice of using young adult male falsettists as permanent sopranos and altos *is hereby suspended indefinitely for all choirs of the Archdiocese.* All adult males must either sing bass, baritone, tenor or counter-tenor (unless a clearance for otherwise singing the usually female parts is obtained - and this - on case to case basis, from the music commission). Singers who insist that they must be in the midst of ladies to sing should be charitably advised to leave the choir, since, after all, membership in the choir is not compulsory for every Catholic and no one can force his or her membership on the whole choir. *This measure of dismissal would be especially very necessary if in the prudent judgement of the executives, the male singer opts for female parts, as a way of advancing a hidden gay or self-feminization agenda.*

2. Singers who are well known to belong to formal or informal gay clubs are henceforth *forbidden* to belong to any Catholic choir, choral group or even music academy in the Archdiocese, unless it is clear they have renounced such groups and the attendant culture. *A chorister is a liturgical minister and as such must be above scandal.*

3. Male choristers who exhibit clear but undue feminine behaviors ( *e.g. wearing earrings, permed hairs, undeniably feminine bleaching* ) as well as female choristers who preponderantly and inordinately portray themselves as male gender (e.g. *by absolute refusal to wear gown or skirt uniforms, even in performance context)* are henceforth to be charitably advised to leave the choir if they insist on their inordinate gender theatrics. Such persons are in no way to be allowed to function as executive members.

4. In excluding singers who are practicing homosexuals/lesbians, it is the grave responsibility of the choir exco, to firmly prevent the access of such excluded persons to kid-members of the choir (that is, those that are minors). There should be ABSOLUTE ZERO interaction between them and children members of the choir.

Note that the following provisions are for immediate application and admits of no exceptions. While the music commission will continue to pray about and look into the possible situation of infiltration of Onitsha Archdiocesan choirs by gay and lesbian microgroups, we take the above guidelines as interim measures.

I don't know if I'm allowed to give my own take on this topic.

*Homosexual* behaviours aren't or may not be that demonic as some unenlightened Catholic deputy-Jesus thought....But even if it is, I know the universal church does not condemn or discriminate against Homosexuals (who are naturally born that way as proven by science) but does not support the act since it's a sin. Hence they are called to live a life of chastity (our priest should know this doctrine better and I stand to be corrected).
However, the church is filled with both saints and sinners seeking for repentance. The church is like a clinic where the healthy comes to checkmate themselves to remain healthy and where the sick come to take therapy to be better or fully well.
We have abortionists and killers, fornicators, adulterers, pedophiles, celibacy vow breakers, scammers, deviants etc in all ministries of the Church..if fair is to be fair they all should be given same similar rules..

Secondly that someone is effeminate doesn't mean they may be gay or inversely lesbians but a fact remains that there are sexuality)Gender based chromosomal/hormonal mutation (imbalance-in my layman understanding ) in some humans which if I'm to be logical, they should not be blamed or bigoted over it.
You can't try this in developed countries not because it has been their lifestyle (after all we claim homosexuality is a western culture but that's a fat lie cus studies shows Africans have been hypocrites as usual) but because it is the fair, reasonable and right thing to do and equity isn't shamed in the real sense..
This rule is so unfair, dehumanizing, against human right of a person as both irreligious and Religious Citizen period..

Oga, anything or lifestyle that contradict the law of humanity is abomination of any sort, go and live your life like the west or do as you like but don't bring it into a sacred religion like Catholic. We the Catholic faithful have strong condemnation towards such and even the bible that thought us that animals were created on both different sex and God's plan on them is male and female not male to male and female to female, human being as a means of socialism exploited the agenda of the antichrist and want to shove it into our throat that such people are already existing and that we should learn to accept them as one of us. Abomination is abomination and should be condemned with strong term.

If God cannot spare Sodom and Gomorrah because of abomination like dat why should I spare LGBTQ? I spit on their lifestyle and eternal condemnation awaits whoever altered the law of procreation made by God that man should leave his parent and clinch to his wife and not to another man or woman to another woman and any church under the law of Christ wedding ds people will draw the wrath of God upon them
