The general outcry, across the land and abroad, is to release Leah Shuaibu, who is said to have been, forcefully converted from her Christian religion to Islam and married to Book Haram commander.

Federal Government and its agencies should intensify efforts to free this young girl, who was 14 years when she was captured, and has spent her 15th to 19th birthdays in captivity.

Nigerians have renewed calls to intensify efforts to free Ms. Leah Shuaibu, from five-year captivity by Boko haram terrorists.

While most of the other 110 girls, who were captured, along with her, from their hostel at Government Girls’ Science and Technology College, Dapchi, Yobe State, Leah has remained with the deadly Islamic terrorist sect, since February 19, 2023.

Leah's plight reflects, the brutality and violence, unleashed on innocent citizens by the Boko Haram in Nigeria, under the illusory quest to enthrone Islamic fundamentalism in the country. The clarion call for Leah's release will continue to resonate across society, until this young lady is freed from these vicious group.
