Buhari decided to burn the bridge that made Aso Rock possible for him. In his crude, naive, parochial and selfish mind, he is hiding behind reducing the influence of money in elections to frustrate the chances of Tinubu and other people contesting for positions under the APC. I think we need more of El-Rufai in Nigerian politics. People who will always speak the truth and are ready to be upstanders regardless of who is involved.

I don't think an average APC supporter would want to see Buhari near the podium tomorrow. His recent deeds and actions can't be forgiven even if he releases two national broadcasts per day in support of Tinubu.
