Some of us are serious. The first thread on this Parks and Garages nonsense some days ago had a number of posters questioning the use of the NURTW (or any other transport union) for election logistics. Those questions still stand.

There are government MDAs (e.g. state and federal ministries of health and education) whose presence is felt (however imperfectly) in all the nooks and crannies of this country. How do they do it? If those MDAs can get to those remote places then INEC can too. There are also private companies and NGOs who are found in some of the most remote parts of this country - doing their business without the sweaty embrace of the NURTW or any other transport union. How are they doing it? If they can do it then INEC can too.

Nigeria's dubious politicians and the barely literate NURTW enforcers who do their bidding are not the fools here. The fools are all those people who struggled to get an education or spent years learning a trade and then sat back and watched while a transport union populated by grifters and louts gained outsized influence in this country.

One could understand if farmers unions, health sector workers, metal workers unions etc. gained considerable bargaining power in this country - after all they actually produce stuff or they preserve life. But what exactly does the NURTW do? What?

What they don't understand is that any decision they make to make things difficult for Tinubu they are are happy with it thinking it will work in their favor not knowing that they are the foolish people .Every negative policies taken against Tinubi is to favor Atiku not Obi that's where they don't have sense to understand
