Kwankwaso candidates in NNPP is North is more important to him, he has governorship candidates, national assembly and state assembly candidates that likely to win in many Northern states, stepping down will be suicide for him and those that relying on him, if many of them win they will support him financially and otherwise I
his ambition next time, for example his governorship candidate in Kano will win next gubernatorial election.

What you all don't know is that Kwankwanso knows him stepping down for a northerner is him killing his next 8 years future ambition of becoming the president.
If at all he will step down, he'll do that for a southerner to open more chances for him in the future. However, he will never step down for Tinubu, that dude is hated in the north... Not for Obi. In a nutshell, I don't see him stepping down at all
