Panagerise the Nigeria Police, Seeks Citizens Support for effective policing.


Mr. Peter Omeke, An Abuja based business mogul and Real Estate development Titan and Hon. Engr. Humphrey Chukwuemeka Nsofor, the Estwhile Majority Leader of Anambra State House of Assembly has showered encoumius on the officers of the Nigeria Police for Thier resilience and sacrifices in ensuring a secured and peaceful Nigeria.


Speaking to newsmen in Abuja after visiting the Deputy Inspector General of the Police incharge of Finance and Administration, DIG Danmallam Mohammed in his office at Force Headquarters Abuja, Mr. Peter Omeke commended the Nigerian police for it's unwavering commitment in living up to its expectations of providing internal security, protection of the lives and properties of the citizens despite the current economic reality, cost of living, transport fare and other essential needs of the personnel which has risen astronomically.


On his part, Hon. Engr. Humphrey Nsofor described DIG Danmallam Mohammed as a refined senior police officer who has continued to blaze the trail, leaving significant imprint in the lives of Nigerians across the six geo political zones where he has previously policed.


He recalled the service years of DIG Danmallam in Anambra State and his visit to the Traditional Ruler of Nnewi, His Royal Majesty, Igwe K.O. Orizu, HON. Nsofor urged the Senior officer to remain unrelenting in leaving positive legacies behind for the younger generation.



Appreciating the duo for the visit, Dan Mallam Mohammed recalled the hospitality he enjoyed while serving in South East, He stated that South Easterners are predominantly self reliant businessmen and women, whose community development and youth empowerment approach have become a model in Nigeria and beyond.


He however, bemoaned the restiveness of the youths in the South East Zone which has dwarfed businesses, increased tensions, created hardship and unemployment,"

He further called for a collective approach and synergy between the security agencies, traditional Rulers, youth groups and Community leaders in the zone to achieve a safe and secured society.
