RIGGING ALERT: ANAMBRA SOUTH SENATORIAL

…INEC LIST OF SPO AND COLLATION OFFICERS IN ANAMBRA STATE COMPROMISED

About 50 of the Supervisory Presiding Officers (SPO) and Collation Officers on the INEC Anambra South list sent by INEC were submitted by Chris Uba, PDP Candidate in Anambra South Senatorial. In the last one week, they have held private meetings with the Senatorial Candidate with briefing on what they will do on the day of election.

Chief Uba with his contact in Abuja succeeded in fixing his people to do SPO and Collation job on the day of election in the senatorial zone.

The situation in Anambra is very worrisome, on the 6th of February, the Resident Electoral Commissioner Dr. Queen Elizabeth Agwu made some transfers of electoral officers (EO) and on the 15th of February, the National Commissioner Chief Festus Okoye flew into Awka and changed again the postings done by the Resident Electoral Commissioner, a visit which is very suspicious for a National Commissioner to just come in just for the change of Electoral Officers raises some questions.

INEC Nigeria should beam their searchlight in Anambra South Senatorial to forestall all plans to rig the election.

Good for Anambra.

It is good that something like this has been brought to light. INEC should look into this situation immediately so as to curtail the menace being perpetrated by wrong doers.
