Na every day una dey post this same rubbish? Why not face your life and stop focusing on what children should learn? I know the children are not complaining.

What constitutes being African? You are supposed to tell stories in your native tongue not type on the white man’s internet in his own native language. I know you’re either Christian or Muslim, two religions not of African origin.
nothing like white man internet, just as absence of such books does not africanize.

The last thing primary school pupils need is Sex Education. I was taught Sex Education, but that wasn't until SS1 in Biology Class.

So the solution now…

Is to show the children BLUE FILM?

There is mild… then there is extreme. This one is extreme!

Where do you see blue film? I don't agree with the wording but kids that are educated on sex are less vulnerable to child abuse and teen pregnancy than those who are kept ignorant.

You think a teen would have gotten pregnant if they knew how to avoid it?

I know with the advent of the wokeness culture, what makes Africa African is beginning to be shoved aside. Africa used to have values and norms which they upholds to the highest level. Sex education didn't used to be for children and it worked so fine.

Our contemporary society maybe trying to educate children on matters surrounding sex but I think they are going to far, it should be a very gradual step, with more knowledge added at different stages in life. Not just exposing everything in two shakes of a dog's tail.

I came across this, do u all think it's too heavy for kids

So many crazy things happening these days,
I pray God saves the world from total destruction...

My sis these are not teens…

These are pry 5 students. Likely 8-9 year olds.

No one is questioning the importance of sex education. But it has to be introduced gradually and in correlation to age of the kids.

For kids that young this exposure/education is quite extreme!

Since the book is for them in Zambia, what is the need for it to be brought up for discussion in Nigeria?

It seems there are no longer Tinubu, Obi or Atiku stories to be brought forward for discussion.

The more you make sex look mystical, the more curious kids get.

Most Nigerian parents did not give their kids sex education, did that stop you guys from having sex??
Your parents told you not have pre-marital sex, did that stop you guys?

Some of you claim to have strict parents and still got pregnant as a teen/ got a girl pregnant, how did that happen?
You have no idea how saner it helped us. Our curiosity was triggered when we got much exposed to sensual materials, magazines, CDs and all. Let kids be kids, stop messing up their minds so early.

The way Nairaland pushes unverified news to the frontpage is alarming. There is no such book in Kenya. A little research would have made it clear this is fake news. This same illustration has been in circulation for long with different headlines. It used be Kenya until the Kenyan education department came out to say they know nothing about the book. And now, y'all have pinned it on Zambia. Fake news no dey tire you people? It appears the illustration is actually from book published in the UK.
