The Ogun State traditionalists under the auspices of Alternate Medicine practitioners have unanimously endorsed Governor Dapo Abiodun for second term in office due to his immense contributions to the establishment the sub-sector and advancement of trado- medicine in the state.

The endorsement and support for Governor Abiodun's reelection was made known a special meeting of all the practitioner's heads and the Board Chairman Balogun Nurudeen Olaleye, held in Abeokuta Ogun State capital, where the they described the Governor as a kind-hearted leader.

The Chairman, Nigeria Association of Traditional Medicine and founder of Africa College of Traditional Medicine , Chief Samson Soyoye declared that Prince Dapo Abiodun has done a lot for the advancement of trado- medicine in the state,saying that he has proven himself as a selfless and exemplary leader with the fear of God who keeps every single of his promises.
He said they will continue to support him in his re-election bid.

Also, the national President Mission Birth Attendant, the Reverend Elizabeth Quodri , said one of the reasons for supporting the Governor's reelection bid was due to his truthfulness and systematic way of implementing his programmes for the wellbeing of the People in the State.

she pointed out that, the sincerity of the governor brought about the creation of the Ogun Alternative Medicine Board, first of its in the state.

The President Iwarefa Traditional Medicine Association, Alhaji Muhammed Yahaya said that he was grateful to Governor Abiodun for liberating the Practise of Alternate Medicine in the State by adopting the sub-sector as one of its government project to anable citizens of the State have access to affordable and qualitative healthcare system of their choice.

Speaking in the same vein,the founder Isese Kingdom of Truth and the Kabiesi Olu-isese worldwide Ifarotimi Adifagbola Baalogun , said he was delighted with the kind gesture of the governor for establishing the State Alternate Medicine Board during his first term in office as being practiced in other State of the Federation.

He eulogised the Governor for giving approval for Isese day to be observed annually by traditionalists on 20 August across the State, saying the good gesture should continue unhindered in the state.

In their separate contributions, Chief Adesina Odugbemi , the President Ewedayepo , Mrs. Sonubi Iyabo the Coordinator Ijebu- ode Community Healthcare service and Chief Soremekun Abiwere the State hairman Traditional Birth Attendant , saying efforts of the Ogun State governor Prince Dapo Abiodun on Alternate Medicine practice has transformed the sub - Sector and if the kind of support and attention from the government for the sub-sector s continue soon the State will no longer be waiting for the federal allocation to do things.

Abiodun the ex-convict?? Some one who single handedly looted Ogun state coffers dry with nothing to show for it.

We only see ogun state huge igr on paper, are there no other competent hands in Ogun??
