The New Lagos Tenancy Law has generated diverse reactions but one fact that will sure raise multiple eyebrows is the clause in it that excludes properties in VI, Ikoyi, Ikeja GRA and Apapa from the provisions of the law. Basically, residents/tenants in the above-mentioned parts of Lagos should keep to the terms of the existing contracts between them and their landlords because, really nothing has changed! SMH
