Hon. Ginger Onwubibe has emerged as the winner in Isiala Ngwa North and South Federal constituency. The winning is of the recent election held on Saturday.

According to the results announced by the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), Onwubibe polled a total of 20,411 votes. He defeated his closest rival, Professor A. C. B Agbazuere of the ruling PDP. A. C. B scored 13,508 votes.

The All Progressives Congress (APC) came third with a total of 2,976 votes.

Onwubibe, who is a member of the Abia State House of Assembly, left the PDP last year. And this was after some disagreements with the State Governor.
