Cristiano Ronaldo is a professional football player from Portugal who is widely regarded as one of the greatest players of all time. He was born on February 5, 1985, on the island of Madeira.

Ronaldo started his football career at the age of eight playing for Andorinha, a local club in Madeira. He then moved to Nacional before being signed by Sporting CP at the age of 12. At Sporting CP, Ronaldo developed his skills and quickly caught the attention of top European clubs.

In 2003, Ronaldo signed with Manchester United for a transfer fee of £12.24 million, which was a record for a teenager at the time. Ronaldo helped Manchester United win three Premier League titles, one FA Cup, one League Cup, and the UEFA Champions League during his six-year stint at the club.

In 2009, Ronaldo was signed by Real Madrid for a then-world-record transfer fee of £80 million. At Real Madrid, Ronaldo became the club's all-time top scorer, scoring an incredible 450 goals in 438 appearances. He helped Real Madrid win four Champions League titles, two La Liga titles, and two Copa del Rey titles.

In 2018, Ronaldo transferred to Italian club Juventus for a fee of €100 million. At Juventus, Ronaldo has continued to showcase his incredible talent, scoring important goals and helping the team win two Serie A titles.

In addition to his club success, Ronaldo has also had an outstanding international career. He has played for the Portugal national team since 2003 and has scored a record-breaking 115 goals in 188 appearances. Ronaldo helped Portugal win the UEFA European Championship in 2016, their first major international trophy.

Overall, Ronaldo's career has been nothing short of remarkable. He has won numerous individual awards, including five Ballon d'Or awards, and has established himself as one of the greatest football players of all time.
