There's no safety in unrighteousness...

"Thy prophets have seen vain and foolish things for thee: and they have not discovered thine iniquity..."

Beware of preachers who promise comfort in sin and fail to address it. They offer false hope and lead us away from the truth. Seek out preachers who guide you to redemption in Christ and urge you to submit to God and walk in righteousness. Reject those who would lead you astray and turn to the Lord for salvation.

The Call to Righteousness

Dear friend, truly, it is by the mercies of God that we are not consumed by the consequences of our sins. However, we cannot continue in a life of sin and expect that the protection of God will always be around us. No! God demands righteousness from us as his children. The righteousness of our parents is not enough to keep us, we have to work out our own salvation by adhering to the counsels of God's prophets. This is the will of God for us all.

But they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary; and they shall walk, and not faint.

Trust in God and keep hope alive, even in trying times. Waiting upon the Lord and seeking Him renews our strength, according to Lamentations 3:25-26 and Isaiah 40:31. Yet, we must also wait in righteousness, as living in sin hinders our hope in God's protection and deliverance.

God's nature is loving, compassionate, and merciful.

He does not cause suffering or act capriciously, and His intentions for us are always good. Our responsibility is to submit to His love and obey His guiding laws. We must avoid false teachings that offer comfort in unrighteousness, as continuing in sin breaks His protection and leads to captivity. However, if we confess and turn from our sins, God will restore us to Himself.

To find freedom, turn to righteousness and trust in His plan.
