Taiwan has an independent government and can buy anything she feels like.

Even USA don't call Taiwan an independent country neither did UN recognize her as a independent nation.
Until Taiwan start calling herself an independent nation then its part of China

Both of you need to educate yourselves on Taiwan. I never said Taiwan was independent. The government of China in Taiwan is a legitimate and independent government. They were overthrown from the mainland only. Thus the PRC CCP has never ruled Taiwan.

China and Taiwan are one country but Taiwan's government did not lose Taiwan to the PRC during the revolution. The government there is legitimate.

Only a peaceful negotiation between the two governments is the solution. That is what both US backed Taiwan and China have agreed on for years.

Now Xi jinping wants to make war an option. Therefore the US will arm Taiwan as much as she desires so that Xi and the CCP will think twice before bullying a legitimate government into submission.

There is but one China. Taiwan is an inalienable part of China and all of China is under Xi jinping.
