My Take On The Obidience Movement And The Way Forward by Stevebuffet: 11:42pm On Mar 04, 2023
My goal in writing this is to discuss the current developments in the Obidient movement because some scrupulous political figures are attempting to tribalize it for their own personal gain. This is not good at all.

The Obidient movement is a mastermind of people who are sick of the evil government and how they have pillaged our resources for decades. It is a secular movement free of political and religious ideologies. Any attempt to undermine this movement will fail because it transcends any one individual, tribe, or religion.

In a similar vein, I refrained from voting in the previous election due to my political beliefs, but after seeing what these political actors are up to, I vow to get out and support the Libertarian Party on Saturday of next week.

A man named Gbadebo Rhodes Vivor was the target of widespread misinformation because he dared to dream. He has been referred to as a stranger merely because he dared to question the established status quo and offer everyone a well-refined Lagos, similar to the Lagos that Chief. Lateef Jakande built. Not this over-the-top Lagos. without agberoism, flooding, unrest, or traffic congestion. I think we can all agree that Agbero in Lagos is a menace.

I was on the fence about voting on Saturday, but after seeing the campaign of defamation against him, I decided to do some study and discovered that the candidate had a sharp mind with detailed strategies for the state of Lagos. Now is the moment for Lagos residents to get up and cast their votes for a capable young person. A young man who has traveled the globe wanted to return and implement what he has observed in other nations. The youth must now assume their proper position. Instead than just some old people repeating themselves, we need visionary leaders.

What exactly does the blue rail stand for? What advantages does it currently offer the average person? Can you utilize it? Tokenized projects are being carried out by the government for use in election campaigns. Why would a government launch a project just before elections? a government without compassion. What about the Lekki-Epe Airport. Every single election year, that’s when you hear about the 4th mainland bridge. Nothing! Just tokenism!

What was the government's response to the End SARS movement, which cost the lives of young Nigerians who were agitating for better conditions in their country?

What has the government's approach against traffic robbers been thus far? Nothing!

What about omonile and agberoism? Nothing.

Our administration is incompetent, and some individuals claim that one good deed deserves another, but for what exactly?

I only observe citizens who reinforce failure in Nigeria because they fail to raise the required issues. Why would a responsible government avoid debates?

Is that the same as skipping a job interview and expecting to get hired just because you have a cousin working there? That doesn't work!

This is what needs to change if we are to create a new Nigeria. In all respects, we must hold our government accountable. They must sit up straight. We frequently contrast ourselves with the Western world, but the truth is that their leaders are very similar to ours the only difference is that their people hold them accountable.

Because he violated the Covid 19 rules, the former prime minister of the UK was given the choice to resign or be impeached in disgrace. However, politicians in Nigeria violate the rules more frequently, and we laugh about it. They won't sit up until we, the Nigerian people, have the power to hold every public servant responsible for even the smallest offense, and we won't see the transformation we want. While corruption does exist in the west, it is also held accountable by the people there.

It is now that we must remodel our minds in order to create a New Nigeria.

It's about time, in my opinion, that the unbiased minds in these forum had access to some of gbadebo's interviews and heard him explain his vision for a new Lagos. You may not like him or his personality, but you should still watch all of these videos. Better yet, you can search for him on YouTube and listen to how he outlines his plans for the New Lagos.
