I heard that mini buses are not good for a long distance drive .

Why would you want to endanger anyone's life by using a minibus for interstate travel?

You are better off with a HIACE 18 seater bus for the use case you just mentioned.

Minibus aren't good for interstate. They're slower, less safe on the highway, and will give you a lot of problems in the long run.

Minibuses are meant for town service. Infact, they are bared from the express way in Nigeria.

Speaking on the legal status of the commercial mini-buses, Assistant Corps Marshal (Zonal Commanding Officer, Federal Road Safety Corps, Zone RS2 Command Headquarters Lagos) Nseobong Charles Akpabio, said they are allowed to operate on major roads, but are barred from using the expressway.
