It is just for a record purpose, PO can easily get those results from IREV online but why do you think he went to court so that he can INSPECT results kept by INEC?

There is no where in the new electoral act where transmission of results electronically is Mandatory. The act says the decision on how to transmit results shall be determined by the commission ( INEC)

Was Osun election winner declared on INEC website?

If the answer is No, then it means the physical collated results was used to announced the winner

In a case of a contest, which takes precedence? The manually collated result (after due cancellation, of course) or the raw uploaded results?

If you followed the declaration of the results, both Scope and Rec were asked if there are places where voting did not take place or over voting.

All those factors have been considered before declaring the final results

There is difference between transmitted results and declared results.

Inec was clever not to upload the results in public portal but instead received them at their back end server. They waited for physical results to arrived first and confirm before updating the public portal.

Imagine the confusion it would have caused if Party A is leading online while party B is leading offline based on the submitted results by Rec and Scope

Physically delivered result that had lots of cancellation and tipex on it. Dey play!
