Labour Party: Coalition Of ObiDatti Support Group Commends LP Chairman And Exco For Supporting Siminalayi Fubara

- Say they align with the decision of the State Party Excos to support the candidacy of Sir, Siminialayi Fubara not for any form of inducement as been peddled on Media but for Equity, Tranquility, Consolidation of the infrastructural revolution in Rivers State, Competence and Peaceful coexistence.

Some Labour party members in Rivers State and Coalition of OBI/DATTI Support Group commends the State LP Chairman and Exco for their decision to vote for Sir. Siminialayi Fubara.

Barely two days after the State Excos of Labour Party endorsed the PDP Governorship candidate, Sir, Siminialayi J Fubara, groups of Labour faithfuls, leaders and stakeholders and all leading OBI/DATTI Support groups in the state gathered in their numbers at the Labour Party Secretariat to affirm their support to the decision of the State exco.

They maintained their unwavering support for OBI/DATTI and believe that Labour Party in the state and the national shall reclaim her stolen Presidential mandate, saying LP shall be at the Centre of Leadership.

The Supporters who trooped out this morning expressed their displeasure with the decision of the National Chairman to dissolving the state Exco, that it is a very wrong move and vow to challenge the express illegality of the sudden shutdown of the Party structure in Rivers State few days to the State Assembly and Governorship election, they lamented that such move is capable of jeopardising the chances of all other candidates vying for the State Assembly seats, fear this is a sinister plot to make Labour Party of no effect in the State.

They further stated that there are laid down procedures for the party to resolve internal issues no matter how grievous, to dissolve a party structure in a State is not to the interest of all party faithfuls in he state, it automatically shutsdown Labour in Rivers State,.

They said they would not accept it, refer it as unconstitutional and a wrong move.

They urge the National LP executives as a matter urgency revert her decision and seek other means of handling such issues.

They also asked the LP Governorship Candidate in the State to face the reality and align with the state Exco's decision as it is to the best interest of all LP members and Rivers State at large, especially at this time.
The Support groups said the governorship candidate might be playing the script of another candidate.
