Can Okowa speak Urhobo?

Can Obaseki speak Ishan?

Can Wike speak Ijaw?

Lagos is not a Yoruba only speaking state and besides the Language isn't official lingual franca.

You’re right about Obaseki, he doesn’t know how to speak Bini, but nobody dared used that to campaign against it in Benin. How does speaking one’s language translate to good governance??

These guys are just looking for trivial issues to demarket GRV. If you’ve done well as a Governor, you show your scorecard, instead of these campaign of calumny.

In my opinion this is wrong. You should be able to speak the language of the people you want to represent.

If you're not from North and applying for a political position in North you should be able to speak house.

If you want to be lagos politician you should speak yoruba. The fault is from the parents.

Make a igbo governor not speak igbo

You making are references of states with five different ethnic groups, where not up to 35% of the population represent one single ethnic group.

Lagos is 90% Yoruba land and 10% Egun..

In this case GRV is based on he "Will" perform note the word "will" means assumption we are nto even sure he will deliver because it is in the realms of wishful thinking...
Sanwo olu "is " performing not the keyword "is" a guarantee, a present continuos tense. So you see the topic of tribalism here arise because igbo sacrifice compentecy and feel yorubas are fools and try to pretend about it.. The only reason GRV is preferred to sanwo olu is because he has an igbo mother and sanwo olu does not , that is tribalism and yet you people are accusing yorubas of playing tribal politics... Out people are the most tribalist set of people in Nigeria and the problem is we refuse to look ourselves in the mirror and do sober reflection.. How can you sacrifice a working governor for trial and error and expect to convince a sane human that is not because of tribalism? I want to ask you if you have a business that you built in 4 years and it now successfully and you getting daily profits, I I come to you and tell you to close that business down and come state a new one on the premise of it will be successful even though I haven't done the business before, will you agree to close your existing business?
If you hypocritical answer yes then we all this insult our people receive daily why not close down their business in lagos and go elsewhere to start new with the hope it will succeed afterall the believe in let's try another business like the believe in jettison a working governor for another person in a trial and error method..

@pquaver, GVR isnt about Igbos alone but also about Yorubas.
We need a genuine change of taste and not some godfathered governor who remits N60B annually to his master in Burdillion.

Have you listened to GRV discuss the plans for Lagos that he has? They are very doable, smart, and simple. Everything starts with a good plan. Try to hear him out without preconceptions so that you may decide for yourself. One thing I've seen about leaders is that they fade away after their first term, as Sanwolu demonstrated by skipping all of the discussions. A chance to share your scorecard with your supporters and your plans for the following term, but he believed he had already achieved kingship. Every time, our leaders need to be held responsible. We frequently praise the western world's virtues, but this is not because its leaders are free from corruption or that their citizen consistently hold them accountable.

Sanwolu is not perfect, not to mention his flaws. What unique endeavor has Sanwolu begun and finished in his four years?

What has he done to improve the awful traffic situation? What has he done to combat the Omo-Nile and Agbero threat? What is he doing regarding the Lekki-Epe Expressway? Or is it because of the Ikorodu and Alimosho neglect or the state of some of the public schools?

Name one significant project that Sanwolu began and finished in four years?

Sanwolu has only ever engaged in tokenism; as evidence, consider the Blue-rail project, which was inaugurated despite the fact that it is now not in use.

Have you been in nigeria or you just came back? No matter what he discusses.. Have you not heard politicians discuss their plans? At the end of the day what ever he says is not substance.. It is still only a probability.. Sanwo olu is working already. It is a fact.. That is the difference.. U don't close ur successful business only on a promise of I will give a better one which I am. About to start..

As leaders fade after their 1st term is a better probability than a politician ever implementing his good plan in 1st term, so either one way in risk assessment sanwo olu is the safer bet anyway you look at it. Am sure u r an obidient who believes in obi. I am also sure if inec declared him winner and his works 1st term u will not be advocating for him to leave after 4 years let try another with good plan

Oga sanwo olu must not start projects.. It is only a foolish government that considers what he built in his tenure.. Sanwo can go about doing hospital and school etc like other governor in Nigeria but economical for the state and Nigeria he is working on long term plans with more economical benefits... The rail for example can generate in 4 years amount to build those hospitals and others. It is not about plan go and meet Ikpeazu he will bring out a wonderful plan for you..
