The current Minister of Labour and Employment and 2023 presidential aspirant on the platform of the All Progressives Congress spoke on Thursday as a guest on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme monitored by The PUNCH.

For Nigeria to be truly united, APC should go back to Obasanjo PDP era power sharing arrangements. Every part of the country was well represented in government and had a sense of belonging. Buhari ran a clannish Government for 8 years in which he sort to prove that his Fulani breed who are just are less than 6% of Nigeria 's population are above the indigenous people of Nigeria scattered all over the world and ended up fragmenting the country along ethnic and religious divide, heightening the division.
Obasanjo is a very smart man and why he succeeded. He is a Yoruba man, his VP Atiku is a Fulani from North East (same region as Tinubu 's VP), he went to North West and got Speakership under Salisu Buhari - later impeached for age falsification and replaced by Umar Ghali Na'Abba From Kano, Deputy Speaker was from Niger Delta (I think Austin Opara).
At Senate, he went for South East and had Evans Enwerem as Senate President (replaced by Chuba Okadigbo, Adolphus Wabara, replaced Pius Anyim replaced Ken Nnamani) he consistently left the position for the East. He gave North Central Deputy Senate President. With this the 6 geopolitical zone were represented fully in his government.
If Tinubu is smart, adopt this formula and you will consolidate peace quickly.
