I don’t trust the writer of this article, the way he pretended as if the Senate Presidency and Speaker aren’t above SGF and Chief of Staff, and can be used to placate zones that are angry on religious grounds is suspicious. All those Muslim Senators from North Central and North West should forget about it. I think the Senate Presidency should be zoned to Christian Senators from North central while Speaker can go to Christian Senators from South South.

Why does he have to do that. He is the president he has the right to choose anyone he wants..infact I will gladly support him to make sure Muslim takes the seat from top to bottom.

Where has religion led us and what have we achieved with religion in public life, for me the 3 of the most deserving people for those two positions are Raji Fashola, Nasir ElRUfai and Umar Ganduje having given their unyielded energy and roles in the emergence of the president-elect Asiwaju Bola Tinubu and their personal closeness to Pres-Elect, even to some extent Femi Gbajabiamila deserve some inner caucus role.

Where are those church leaders that campaigned against Muslim - Muslim ticket. Those who will succeed are silent achievers. Empty barrels make the loudest noise. Nothing will be zoned based on religion, if Tinubu likes he'll nominate Northern Muslim for all those positions and there's not a damn thing anybody can do about it.....Afterall this election just showed that one can win by not succumbing to religious pressure.

Stop these irresponsible projections based on primordial religious biases!

This is insulting to the intelligence of millions of Nigerian folks who are neither Xtians or Muslims. These folks do not make a noise or mix politics with spirituality the way some rabid Xtians and Muslims have been embarassingly doing.

Nigerians are not adherants of only these 2 religious groupings. Even a country like Lebanon recognises up to 8 faiths.

Just simply deliver the dividends of democracy and the citizens will not care so much about who gets what based on religious beliefs.
