Dr. Alex Obiogbolu, Special Adviser to Governor Chukwuma Soludo on Political Matters, has claimed that candidates from the Labour Party in the Anambra House of Assembly are being financially supported to oppose the state government if elected.

Speaking to journalists in Awka, he urged the people of Anambra to vote for All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) candidates to prevent the distraction of the governor from his excellent work.

Obiogbolu clarified that the governor does not seek a passive assembly but is willing to collaborate with representatives of all parties.
