Peoples Gazette reports that two weeks after the presidential elections held on February 25th, 2023, US President, Joe Biden, is yet to congratulate the person declared by INEC as president-elect, Bola Ahmed Tinubu.

Recall that both US Ambassador to Nigeria and some independent observers from the US has raised some question mark about the transparency of the election with a seating US senator calling on Washington not accept the outcome of the polls.

This adds to the negativity that has greeted the outcome of the election and the supposed winner as so many international tabloids have reported the person of Tinubu as a “drug baron”.

Should it not bother us that in 62 years, Nigeria can’t still conduct a substantially acceptable election?

Should it not bother us that rather than building on the gain made from 2015 elections, the elections of this year is being compared to 2007 elections?

Nobody should be happy about this, not even the supposed winners.

The problem with Baba Lagos is that, despite the fact that his sponsors reside in Beijing, he still believes that politics is only in Alausa. That's how uninformed he is.
Let's leave Biden for mama Beau.

The state department, not White House. They are two different things. When I told you that mama Beau being in Kenya, the same time with our elections was no coincidence, you didn't want to believe. Well, the coming months will enlighten you

How many world leaders have congratulated Tinubu? Sunak jumped the gun. Yes, he is a somewhat disinterested supporter of Tinubu, but he should have been more professional in displaying it. Because, there's a contention of the conduct of the election, and it has been brought before the courts, most world leaders will prefer to wait, until it is resolved, before sending pleasantries and accolades. That's the procedure.

The US government has congratulated the winner. There is no need for Biden to personally congratulate him since his government has done that already.

If you listened to the spokesperson of the State Department, he was congratulating Nigeria and Nigerians in general for at least holding the election.

His mention of Tinubu was in passing.

That press conference wasn’t held because of Tinubu.

So don’t lump things together.

I miss the days of PDP. When most world leaders visit Nigeria steadily.

Obasanjo hosted US president,Chinese president,Gordon Brown,French president,Francois Hollande. Omohh,Obj hosted many state visits then, which plummeted us to d record of ''giant of Africa'.

Jonathan even hosted The German Chancelor Angela markel.

Buhari never hosted any world renowned leader, except his brothers in Guinea,Niger and Chad angry grin. That's why our economy has been downwards ever since.

APC makes Nigeria d joke of the world. Even our African brother countries no send us again.
