A scuffle is different from an intent to cause bodily harm and intent to kill, is obvious d man never intended to kill her otherwise he wouldn't av engaged her in a conversation or he would have brought a weapon, the physical strength is in her favour, the man is 50yrs and she's younger, so she has an advantage, u don't expect a 90yr old man to beat a 30yr old woman in a fight is not possible,

My Dad had this similar experience where the tenant don't want to pay any utilities bill but before the woman would go and hold his gbola and kill him he returned her her money still she used more than a month before she packed from the house. To clear it more she's Igbo

Even if it was a mistake she's now a murderer. At times, running from fight does not mean one is a weak, it could be out of sense.

I don't see her go free. Either death sentence or life imprisonment. Regardless of the penalty, paying electricity bill or being disconnected is better. She could have left the house. My previous landlady paired 5 flats to one prepaid. At the end of our tenancy 4 out of 5 occupants left the place for better houses. A prepaid meter per house might have solved this issue..
