Riyadh will not sell oil to any country attempting to introduce a price cap on it, Saudi Energy Minister Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman said in an interview with Energy Intelligence.

"If a price cap were to be imposed on Saudi oil exports, we will not sell oil to any country that imposes a price cap on our supply, and we will reduce oil production, and I would not be surprised if others do the same," the minister said, commenting on the US NOPEC (No Oil Producing and Exporting Cartels Act) bill.

The bill gives the US administration an opportunity to file anti-monopoly lawsuits against OPEC members and their partners.

In the Saudi minister’s opinion, the bill will lead to a misbalance in oil supply and demand on the global market.

A whole Saudi can’t go to hell….
They’ve made so much from oil and have invested heavily to an extent that can do without the oil.
The same with Qatar, Kuwait and UAE, Iran is the only country in the upper gulf region that hasn’t developed like most western cities… funny how Iran has the biggest economy in that region … close $2T…
Iran with thousands of Sanction is doing better than 80% of European countries including Sweden,Poland and Finland….
I’m just trying to tell you that different kingdom and country can build their country independently and the US and her friends can’t stop a strong willing government.
Obviously The US and it’s allies represent more than 60% of the world Economy and power…. But even small monkeys lives in the Forest and the Tiger don’t mess with him because it’s way beyond reach.
I pray some day Nigeria will have a government that’s hell bent on repairing this country by all it takes..by all it takes… if it includes selling some state off for rich men and coporation willing to have their own country to evade tax…..
Like selling Sokoto off for $50bn…
Just anything to develop this country is a welcome development, like military coup.
Or democrazy like Buhari have it, complete disregards for the rule of law , but just repair this country….
I wish the next president will completely seal off the legislative complex, let those senators and representatives go home, pay them 200k monthly salary…. They’re not representing any of us… they only represent their families and friends.
