Three of Nigeria’s biggest artists, Burna Boy, Patoranking, and Tems, have all received nominations for the International Reggae and World Music Awards 2023.

However, The African Giant, Burna Boy, received two nominations. The first is for Best Crossover Single for his song ‘Toni-Ann Singh’ featuring Popcaan. Meanwhile, The second nomination is for Best Afrobeats Entertainer, where he is competing against Diamond Platnumz from Tanzania, Eddy Kenzo from Uganda, Nigerian sensation Tems, and Willy Paul from Kenya.

Patoranking, the Nigerian Dancehall superstar, has also been nominated for an award. However, He is up for Best African Dancehall Act, where he will be competing against other talented artists like Star Zee from Sierra Leone, Shatta Wale and Stonebwoy from Ghana, and Zimbabwe’s Winky D.
