One of the greatest gifts a man can possess is the ability to perceive the worth of what He has. Many people today have traded what they have for what they want and regretted the massive loss at the end of the trade. We often focus on what we want and forget what we have, which is a dangerous thing to do. Let’s look at an example

“So when the woman saw that the tree was good for food, that it was pleasant to the eyes, and a tree desirable to make one wise, she took of its fruit and ate. She also gave to her husband with her, and he ate.”
‭‭Genesis‬ ‭3‬:‭6‬ ‭NKJV‬‬

Eve had the best environment and everything possible. But because she overlooked what she had and started longing for what she didn’t have. She lost what she had, and that was a great price to pay.

This is not a message to make you complacent and lack vision. But a message to help you know that even though you may want some things to change, even though you may want some things at all costs. But remember, there are many countless things that are so valuable and worthy in your life that you can’t afford to trade for what you want. Don’t trade your health for money, don’t trade your family for your business, and most importantly, don’t trade your relationship with God for anything.

Many things are working than what is not. Many things you have now are worth more than whatever it is you may want. Don’t suffer loss. Trust God, and be grateful always.
