Voters Wrestle Result Sheet From INEC Supervisory Officer At Lagos Polling Unit by ijustdey: 3:26pm On Mar 18
There was a mild drama at Polling Unit 24-03-03-132 on Orona Street, along Idimu-Ikotun road, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State, when a yet-to-be-identified INEC supervisory polling officer tried to abscond with the result sheet even before voting commenced.

Speaking to FIJ, a Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) agent, who simply wished to be identified as Kehinde, said the voters present at the unit first noticed “something was not right” when the INEC ad-hoc staffer on the ground told everyone present that “voting would have to commence without a result sheet because none had been allocated to the unit”.

“When the INEC officials arrived at the polling unit, I asked one of them to show me the result sheet,” Kehinde said.

“She then told me that they did not come with any result sheet. After telling me this, she also faced the crowd to tell them that no result sheet had been made available for this particular unit.

“This was when the crowd revolted and said voting would not commence unless the result sheet was made available.”

As this reporter was speaking with Kehinde, the crowd suddenly saw the result sheet meant for the unit with a man whom the party agents present said was INEC’s supervisory polling officer for all the polling units in the area.

The voters immediately prevented him from leaving, forcing him to release it to them. The moment the result sheet was wrestled from him, he left the unit without saying a word.

You guys need to do an introspection and examine yourselves, especially your foolish toxic - tribalistic dominance mentality.

Look at the first military coup in Nigerian and the role you guys played? That was the beginning of Nigeria’s mess that we are still trying to get out from..

Also look at the civil war when you guys wanted to leave Nigeria and betray the federation just because CRUDE OIL had just been discovered from your region (NB: The first oil well, Olobiri oil well was in old eastern region)

You guys are PERPETRATORS of problems in Nigeria and NOT VICTIMS.

At least after today’s election, that your foolish sense of over-importance will reduce.

You have lost the presidential election, you’ll lose Lagos too today.

You have awoken the ethnic and tribal consciousness in most of us, including our highly intelligent youths who don’t normally bother about things like this before.

Democracy,the rule of 1 man,1 vote and free,fair and credible elections must be forced down the throat of many backward Nigerians.
History has told us many Nigerians don't do things out of commonsense and civility,but must be whipped into them.
If whipping and forcing it down their brains is what should and must be done,lest we be walking in circles,then it should be done.
