I don't think I've ever seen a squirrel in real life (or at least up close) before.
Most people take these beautiful creatures for granted.
My neighborhood occupies a space that used to be part of a rainforest and we have a few trees in the compound. But the forest is almost totally gone today due to civilization. The only thing left of it is a small government reservation forest and a hill. They've even started building houses on the hill. grin I tell you we are killing the earth.
