The Senator representing Anambra South and winner of the 2023 Anambra South Senatorial Election Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah on Monday, reassured the people of the Senatorial District that he will continue to do them proud in the Red Chamber. Senator Ubah made the remarks during his visits to Uruagu Ward 1, Uruagu Ward 2 and Uruagu Ward 3 of Nnewi North Local Government Area of Anambra State.

Speaking at the events which took place at St John of the Cross Pro-Cathedral Egbo Uruagu Nnewi, St Andrews Anglican Church Akaboezem Uruagu Nnewi and Cathedral Church of St Mary Uruagu Nnewi, Senator Ubah thanked ndị Uruagu for defying the odds to give YPP their massive votes in the 2023 National Assembly and State Assembly Elections. He also appreciated them for supporting their brother Sir Augustine Ikedoji to represent ndị Nnewi in the Anambra State House of Assembly and disclosed that his victory will guarantee the promotion of YPP’s ideology in the State Legislature.

Senator Ubah who was accompanied by his wife Mrs Uche Ubah, winner of the 2023 Nnewi North State Constituency Election Sir Augustine Ikedoji and some stakeholders further disclosed that he was in the Wards to celebrate with his party, the Young Progressives Party (YPP). The Senator also appreciated the people of Uruagu community for trooping out en masse to celebrate with the party and informed them that the grand finale of the victory celebration which will feature a raffle draw and presentation of several gift items to many people will hold on Saturday March 25, 2023 at Ifeanyi Ubah International Stadium, Nnewi-Ozubulu.
