The Los Angeles Police on Friday surrounded Rihanna’s home in Los Angeles when an unknown man appeared at her door to propose to the singer.

LA Police Department confirmed that the man was detained for trespassing at Rihanna’s Beverly Hills residence.

He told security guards of his intention to ask for Rihanna's hand in marriage before police were called and arrived on the scene to question him.
He was put in handcuffs and placed in a police car before being released with a warning not to return to the property.

It is unclear whether Badgal Riri’s boyfriend ASAP Rocky, and their one-year old son were at home during the incident.

A source told TMZ, that the man had not broken any laws and returned home without criminal charges being pressed.
