For instance we contribute to someone to pay electricity bill but now I insisted to transfer directly to the account the person adding interest was shocked, immediately I knew the real amount that I have being asking from him for ages....

that one is very ok,, but for someone that goes to the market to buy things for soup or stew of little quantity....u cant be transferring to the person that grinds pepper or to a mallam for tomatoes of #200,,, abi na #100 ugu u wan transfer for..... what of the day u did not drive,,, u wan transfer to conductor or bike man ...except u go dey use UBER and not all UBER drivers collect transfer

That is why i said transfer can not always be convenient, u still need to hold cash even if na #5,000 just incase

Yes bro last month I went to the market with cash for transportation but rice, beans and other foodstuffs seller gave me their account number to transfer into... Then small things like pepper onions and maggi I bought with little cash with me

Nigerians are not ready for any tin change or new policies.

Thank God for this cashless policy alot of our northern brothers now have bank account. Majority of my transcations is done on transfer. From bike man, to yam seller to keke napel.

By the end of the year nigerians will fail the deadline

I dey tell you, we keep blaming the government for everything.
In my area you see Pos operator numbering about 100 in ATM stand with aleast each of them having more than three ATM card. After collecting from the stand they we still sell at higher price.

But they can easily set it up like in China where everyone has an account and everyone is monitored.
But it has to be set up and practiced over time and it also means big brother will be watching you!

Noting has changed so far here😔,pos operators charge 3k to take 5k,so we are still doing our transfer to buy food stuffs,am even afraid to ask how much they will charge for 10k.

Why? And i think p.h will be the last place to ease the price of buying cash! Tfare prices differs in some places and type of commercial vehicle used.
