Obiano built the airport, not your package 3rd class fraudster..

Ogun state is so close to Lagos. Airport is not the problem now but the cargo airport which they’re already building..

You don’t wanna compare Ogun with any state in SE, except you wanna shame the states in SE..
Anambra is close to Asaba, Enugu and Imo, Ogun couldn't afford better morden airport grin grin
Imagine the nonsense Ogun and Ekiti built

Thanks a lot.

It shows Lagos is the most cheated state in Nigeria. This should end the chirping/bickering about FG and South South oil building Lagos. The ports and airport make more money than oil.
I guess that was why Lagos government facilitated the new Lekki seaport. Now from that port, they will be able to generate some revenue from it and the FG will take their normal cut.

Yea, Lagos is cheated coz even the VAT generated from Lagos is shared among all states in Nigeria. But that is the disadvantage of one Nigeria and the oil producing states can also make the same argument of other states taking from their oil proceeds.

And if the IGR is primarily from PAYE tax (which is the formal sector) , why are Igbos who thrive in chaos and the informal sector, as traders, always acting like they contribute significantly to the development of Lagos? These people are crazy.

Lol you are taking Ibo people serious? People that can’t generate IGR for their states shey na them go generate am for Lagos? They are just loud mouthed braggarts and nothing else. If na their shop dey contribute IGR, what have they not improved Anambra IGR with Onitsha main market?

Trade also contribute to Lagos economy in general but not only those kind of trade in 2by 2 shops. you have some mega industries that deal in trading in Lagos which contribute to the economy and you have lot of other trading activities like food, clothing both lace and normal English wears, cements, and etc. Those are component of trading.

Your breakdown also shows that the excessively huge population isn’t that beneficial in the grand scheme of things since only a small percentage would be in the formal sector. The rest (which is the bulk of the population) don’t really contribute much despite putting enormous pressure on amenities/infrastructures.

Correct.

why are you crying on this thread?

Air train just like the mono rail Obi Pandora signed the MOU while he was governor and we don't hear anything anymore. Ogun state still get flyover pass Anambra so what exactly are you talking about?

Industrial park? You are a clown. Industrial area in Ogun state alone is more than all you guys have in the whole South East region.

Ogun state priority right now is Agro-cargo airport which Dapo Abiodun is currently constructing. All states embark on things that will benefit them so I don't know why you are crying here.

IGR is just as important as prudent management. If you don't have the revenue, what exactly are you going to manage prudently? As Ogun state keep widening the IGR base, there will be a time when they will have a prudent governor who will them build on the pre-existing IGR chest. That is what Tinubu did in Lagos.

O.de Anambra host three industrial parks, one in Ogbaru/ Onitsha, second in Ogbunike, third in Nnewi largely dominated by indigenous unlike you people that are relying on others

Watchout one of the industrial estate in Anambra state

Watch and cure your ignorant mind

See money, but nothing absolutely nothing to show for it

Supporters of corrupt politicians will start quoting me now

That money is nothing when you convert it to dollars. Remember, Nigeria is an import-dependent country and states have to procure things for fixing infrastructure in USD.

That's why it is said that many states will collapse if the federal government doesn't give them monthly allocation. Nigeria practically runs on Niger Delta petrodollars.

By the way, looking at the list, Enugu left and Kaduna crept in within 8 years. It just goes to show that while Ugwuanyi was a bad governor, El-Rufai did a relatively good job in Kaduna State.

We are saying the same thing, that money can be used to develop an alternative means of making money for the state coupled with some sections of the constitution that needs to be amended

Jaundiced way to look at it since it’s relative to Nigeria - not the US. So, relatively, it’s huge when you also look at the cost of living in Nigeria and the bulk of it coming from just PAYE tax.

Niger Delta petrodollars? That meagre amount is primarily the reason why Nigeria is in the doldrums. I’d even wager that remittances from Nigerian diaspora is more valuable than “Niger Delta petrodollars” hence Nigeria needs a leader than can diversify the economy and get away from “Niger Delta petrodollars” - to survive a bit. And also restructuring, so it can maximise its potentials to an extent.

That said, I don’t think Nigeria as a country can ever be great - its ceiling is South Africa, Brazil and Indonesia. But it can be way better than it’s currently.

It’s a Afro-cargo airport bro, it’s not a beauty competition.

I don’t know why Anambla state is churning out low thinking humans everywhere these days.

How do you want an Agro cargo airport to look like? Like Gatwick or Atlanta Hartsfield–Jackson?

That's not the terminal. It's the tower and administrative block. The terminals are still under construction. The cargo terminal and the passenger terminal.

And here we see another loon with an inferiority complex who is triggered by simple statements of fact about IGR data by state. I'm betting you are just another sockpuppet for "AnambraLastSon" to work out his deep-seated issues.
