The Labour Party (LP) intends to challenge the victory of Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu in the March 18 Lagos gubernatorial election.

On March 20, the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) declared Sanwo-Olu of the All Progressives Congress (APC) as the winner and Governor-elect, having polled 762,134 votes, defeating Gbadebo Rhodes-Vivour of the LP who scored 312,329 votes, while Olajide Adediran of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) got 62,449 votes.

The Returning Officer, Prof Adenike Temifayo-Oladiji, VC, Federal University of Technology Akure, announced that 1,182,620 voters were accredited, 1,173,631 votes were cast, and 17,953 were rejected.

Sanwo Olu won even without rigging

Sanwo Olu is the best Governor in Nigeria right now

Only Prof Zulum of Borno comes anywhere near him

Sanwo Olu’s Railway alone would have won him reelection

Sanwo Olu won Alimosho and Ikorodu with a Margin of almost 100,000 votes
Over 46,000 in Alimosho and over 53,000 in Ikorodu

That is already too much to overtake and it was from just 2 Local Government Areas
