Nollywood actor, Yul Edochie and his wife, Mary, are bereaved as they lost their first son, Kambilichukwu Leo Yul – Edochie, on Wednesday,March 29 .

It was gathered that Kambilichukwu, had read throughout the night on Tuesday in preparation for his exams on Wednesday.

A Source revealed that after his examination on Wednesday, he joined his friends to play football. While playing, he slumped and developed a seizure. He was immediately rushed to the Mother and Child hospital where he was confirmed dead.

Kambilichukwu turned 16 in January 2023 and his parents took to social media to celebrate him.

“My first son just turned 16. Happy birthday to you Kambi Leo Yul-Edochie. Many more great years I wish you with loads of accomplishments and greatness. May God be with you always. Daddy loves you,” his father wrote on Instagram.
