Goods Worth Millions Destroyed As Fire Guts Lagos Spare Parts Market (Photos) A fire incident that occurred at the Olowu spare parts market in Ikeja area of Lagos State has destroyed goods worth millions of naira. IGBERETV gathered that fire incident which occurred on Thursday morning, March 30, 2023, razed some shops containing air-conditioners, vehicle parts and motorcycles, among others. As at the time of this report, the Lagos State Fire Service and security operatives were seen at the scene taking control of the situation. Facebook user, Charles Arthur Chika shared a video of fire scene with the caption; "Spare parts at Olowu, Ikeja burnt down today 30th of March, 2023. SLAP44: You can call me all you like but you people should desist from IPOB made propaganda. Balogun market was never and is never an Igbo dominated market. It is a fully dominated Yoruba market and most of the stalls burnt few days ago are fully Yoruba people. Most of the stalls are also insured so people will always get at least some form of capital to bounce back. |
