I’m his four years as a Governor he got over 50 building properties and many were seized by EFCC. Only God knows how many he will acquire if he gets to the sit this time around. Wicked human being.

Why would such kind of person hold a public office, for EFCC to have seized the building it means he admitted to the crime of illegally acquiring them

Did efcc indict or convict sylva of any crime?

When I saw "resign", in my head this was a first in Nigerian politics. A minister resigning for absolutely no reason.

Adeniyi Ademola, justice of the federal high court, Abuja, has struck out a case filed by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) against Timipre Sylva, former governor of Bayelsa state.

The EFCC had filed 50-count charge bordering on stealing to the tune of N19.2 billion, against Sylva.

But on Thursday, Ademola struck out the case on the grounds that it was an abuse of court process.

The judge held that the charges had been dismissed by two federal high courts, >and a resuscitation was tantamount to an abuse of court process.
